Brandy Westwood is a program coordinator with the Community Collaboration and Engagement Team (CCET) within the University of Utah’s CTSI. Originally from rural Alaska, she moved to Utah for college and graduated with a B.S. in English Teaching to go on to teach middle school for 8 years before earning a master’s degree in Instructional Design. She is currently pursuing a project management certification ahead of joining a doctoral program. In her free time, she enjoys board games and reading, getting outside as much as possible, and spending time with family and friends - especially her dog.
From her teaching background and through her work at CCET, Brandy has experience designing and implementing best pedagogical practices, working with youth and underserved communities, engaging and communicating with diverse groups, and fostering a passion for community advocacy. She has worked on a wide variety of projects in her role, and she continues to improve CCET’s educational efforts through designing workshops and delivering trainings.
