Jared Poff is a Research Development Associate with CCET. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Sociology from Brigham Young University and recently earned his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Utah. His academic work includes several published articles that explore the effects of social engagement and interpersonal relationships on individual health and well-being, with a particular focus on East Asian populations. In addition to his academic pursuits, Jared enjoys playing piano and guitar, and he is an avid follower of NBA basketball.
Jared's responsibilities at CCET include marketing the team's services to university partners, managing financial records, and supporting coordinators in conducting engagement services and workshops. He also collaborates with Dr. Sara Knight on research aimed at advancing community engagement practices, specifically by exploring deliberative methods of public involvement.
