Use of OpenSpecimen (OS) continues to expand! This powerful biobanking informatics platform is a free tool subsidized by the CTSI which assists researchers in the organization and reporting of biospecimens. OS allows users to collect parent samples, track processed derivates and aliquots and then store in freezers or distribute/ship. Its power lies in the reporting functionality that allows the researcher to query and filter data using any field recorded during data entry.
If you are a current user of OpenSpecimen, we invite you to join our drop-in office hours for free individualized support.
