STEM CELLS & REGENERATIVE MEDICINE WORKSHOP

Utah CTSI is excited to announce the upcoming offering of ANAT 7760 – Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine Workshop in the Spring 2026.

If you are interested in exploring how human stem cells and organoids are advancing regenerative medicine, this course is designed for you! Stem cells hold tremendous potential to transform our understanding of human-specific biology and have already begun shaping the future of therapeutic applications. Throughout this course, you will be introduced to these cutting-edge advances through a series of engaging lectures.

What makes this workshop especially unique is the hands-on laboratory component! You will receive direct training on how to: 1) work with human stem cells and 2) Differentiate them into cardiomyocytes or neurons

This course is an excellent opportunity for students interested in developmental biology, disease modeling, translational research, or future clinical applications.

Enrollment is limited to 15 students, so early interest is encouraged.

Class begins January 5, 2026
