SLCSE-BEES MEMBER RECEIVES HIGH STATE HONOR

CTSI would like to congratulate Salt Lake Center for Science Education (SLCSE) science teacher Dr. Nicola Hack on receiving the Governor’s Medal for Science and Technology in the K-12 Education category, Utah’s highest civilian award recognizing distinguished service and significant contributions to science and technology. CTSI partners with SLCSE in the SLCSE-BEES (Boosting Engagement through Experiences in Science) program.

The objective of SLCSE-BEES is to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications in Salt Lake City’s local high school arena. These collaborations may involve guest speakers in classrooms, facilitating visits to university labs, arranging student internships, and other mentorship opportunities.

CTSI thanks Dr. Hack for her dedication to the SLCSE-BEES mission.
