SYMPOSIUM OVERVIEW
The Utah Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) Workforce Development Foundation is hosting the annual Translational Research Trainee Symposium. This full-day retreat will feature a keynote address from Michael Holinstat, PhD and bring together students, staff, and faculty from across the CTSI and University of Utah Health campus:
- Master of Science in Clinical Investigation (MSCI)
- Mentored Career Development KL2 Scholar Program
- Spheres of Translational Across the Research Spectrum (STARS) TL1 Program
- MD-PhD Program
- Vice President’s Clinical and Translational (VPCAT) Research Scholars
- Community & Academic Partnership Pilot (CAPP) Program
- Translational Innovation Pilot (TIP) Program
Platform presentations will be delivered by nominated CTSI trainees across all programs. A 3-minute thesis/research competition will allow trainees to share their results in a more concise oral format. For trainees not presenting orally, there will be a poster session. This symposium provides multiple opportunities for networking.
