Among the activities scheduled were platform presentations delivered by invited trainees from each CTSI-associated program, a Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition, poster sessions, and a lecture on the transition from K to R awards presented by Dr. Anna R. Docherty from the Department of Psychiatry in the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine. Attendees were also treated to a keynote address from Dr. Carrie Byington, the inaugural CTSI PI whose leadership, expertise in infectious diseases, and dedication to advancing healthcare practices have made her an influential figure in the medical and translational research community.
