Translational Research Trainee Symposium info
Overview
The Utah Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) Workforce Development Foundation is hosting their Second Annual Research Trainee Symposium on November 7, 2019. This full-day retreat held at the Alumni House on the University of Utah campus will bring together faculty and Trainees from the Master of Science in Clinical Investigation (MSCI), KL2, TL1, MD/PhD and Vice President’s Clinical and Translational (VPCAT) scholar programs. CCTS trainees will present their research-in-progress in platform and poster sessions. The day will end with a keynote lecture by Dr. Kevin Flanigan, Director of The Center for Gene Therapy at National Children’s Hospital, and a celebratory dinner.
Who is required to attend?
All CCTS trainees are required attend all day and present either poster or a talk.
Poster session info:
Trainees who are not presenting orally are required to present a poster showcasing. The CCTS will provide easels accommodating posters 36 inches by 48 inches (portrait or Landscape). A dedicated poster session will allow trainees to discuss their research with symposium participants. Poster are expected to be set by 8:45 am on November 7th.

Selected trainees will have the opportunity to share their research in a platform presentation.
