University of Utah reached a milestone in fiscal year 2018 by surpassing $500 million in total research awards for the first time ever, $356 million of which was awarded to researchers at U of U Health. The numbers represent more than 40 percent growth in five years, with significant increases in federal, industrial, and foundational awards.
