Is Your Community Resilient Enough for Disaster?

The Public Health and Disasters Conference will bring together public health professionals to exchange ideas that will improve emergency public health preparedness in the local communities and promote open dialogue between local health departments and agencies. During the conferences, participants will examine the effect of disaster on public health systems, including emergency management, emergency medical services, health care, hospitals, and the rest of the public health system.  This year's conference is co-sponsored by the University of Utah Division of Public Health, in collaboration with the Salt Lake County Health Department and the Utah Department of Health. The conference is comprised of headliner keynote speakers along with practical learning and sharing sessions.

The conference is being held at the Viridian Center, West Jordan, UT on September 17 18, 2018. Registration opens May 1.
