The purpose of the University of Utah Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) KL2 Mentored Career Development Scholar Award is to support the career development of junior faculty members who have made a commitment to focus their research endeavors on clinical or translational research. Early stage investigators with appointments at University of Utah Health Science, Intermountain Healthcare, Utah Department of Health, and Veteran’s Administration Salt Lake City Health Care System are eligible to apply. The applicant for the CCTS KL2 Award must be nominated by their Health Science Dean, Department Chair, and/or Division Chief to apply for this competitive award. CCTS recommends applicants to have reviewed and understand the eligibility criteria as well as gain the appropriate nominations prior to beginning the application process.
