9th Annual Health Sciences Research Meeting

The Patient Centered Research Methods Core serves as the home for the Annual Health Services Research meeting in Salt Lake City. For the 9th annual meeting on April 30, 2014, we brought together 92 research partners from the University of Utah (57%), Intermountain Healthcare (23%), the VA Medical Center (5%), Utah Health Department (2%), and other community representatives (12%).

The focus of the meeting was patient reported measures with 2 theme-specific keynotes and a patient/community member reaction panel. We also hosted a series of panel presentations from local researches on: meta-analysis, cost of care, secondary data analysis, and implications for practice. This important annual venue provides a mechanism for applied researchers and end users to come together to create awareness, network/collaborate, and share learning.
