Erin Rothwell is an Associate Professor in the College of Nursing and the Division of Medical Ethics and Humanities at the University of Utah. She is also a faculty member within the Graduate Program for Genetic Counseling and completed a fellowship in Bioethics from the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her program of research focuses on the ethical, social, and legal implications of participant comprehension and informed consent within newborn screening, prenatal testing and biobanking.
