Letters of Support from the Utah CTSI
The University of Utah is the home of the Utah Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI), which is an established member of the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) program. The CTSA program creates a definable academic home for clinical and translational research. As a member, the CTSI works to transform the local, regional, and national environment to increase the efficiency and speed of clinical and translational research across the country.
The Utah CTSI provides investigators unique, institutional resources and established infrastructure that can enhance and strengthen your proposal. A letter of support from Utah CTSI leaders can be used to convey more than just an endorsement of the proposal. These letters can reinforce attributes of the proposed work, team of investigators, mentorship, and institutional resources/leadership.
Request a Letter of Support
Please be prepared to submit the following to help@ctsi.utah.edu:
- A draft letter of support. We strongly recommend that the letter is customized to your specific proposal and unique to other letters of support you may be submitting in your application. Feel free to work from our template to create a proposal specific letter.
- Draft proposal budget. When preparing the letter of support, we review your draft budget to understand which CTSI services you may be leveraging in your proposal and confirm if you have budgeted for these services in alignment with current rates.
- Due date for the letter of support. (Please allow a 3 week turnaround)
For any questions, please email help@ctsi.utah.edu.
