
Nate Tevlin is an evaluation specialist with the Continuous Quality Improvement, Tracking & Evaluation (CITE) team. With roots in St. Louis, MO, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Plant Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, specializing in plant breeding and biotechnology. His research experience spans several fields, from selective breeding of soybean for markers of drought resistance to genetic newborn screening and whole exome genetic testing. In his free time, he is an avid reader and enjoys both skiing and snowboarding. He grows super-hot peppers and loves to spend time with his wife, daughter, and two dogs.
In his role with the CITE team, Nate has greatly expanded his knowledge of business analytic software including Tableau and PowerBI, and had also become a proficient developer in the RedCAP software. He assists multiple teams and projects with survey and data capture design and administration, data analysis, and building interactive visualization dashboards and graphs. He also interfaces with the CTSI Clinical Research Unit (CRU), assisting in metrics compilation and reporting.
